Special Holy Eucharists and coffee hours to
commemorate the 130th anniversary of
the consecration of St. Luke’s. This is the
kick-off of our four-month anniversary
celebration.

Trudeau Institute 125th
Anniversary Celebration:
Remembering that Dr. Trudeau was one of the
founding members of St. Luke’s, parishioners are
invited to join with the Trudeau Institute in
celebrating their 125th anniversary.

Special Evensong at St. John’s in the
Wilderness:
The St.
Luke’s and St. John’s musicians and clergy
celebrate St. Luke’s 130th
anniversary with a special Evensong service,
followed by a reception. All are invited!
Thursday, September 24, 7 p.m.
“Historic St. Luke’s”:
Mary
Hotaling of Historic Saranac Lake will give a
presentation on the history of St. Luke’s,
significant St. Luke’s artifacts, and the
church’s presence in Saranac Lake. A reception
will follow.
Thursday, October 1, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Parish Artists’ Exhibit:
St. Luke’s parishioners will exhibit
their artwork; a wine and cheese reception will
be included. The exhibit will be up through
Sunday, October 4.
Friday, October 9, 7:30 p.m.
St. Luke’s Benefit Concert:
Parish musicians will give a concert of sacred
and secular music. The proceeds will go toward
the establishment of the Saranac Lake Homeless
Shelter.
Sunday, October 18, 7:45 and 10:00 a.m.
Holy Eucharist: The Feast of St. Luke:
The culminating events of the parish’s 130th
anniversary celebrations. A special brunch will
follow the 10:00 service.
